Dark Brotherhood Members[edit]

I removed the information you added concerning Rowley Eardwulf and the Minion because they aren't members of any DB related faction. This is a common misconception made about DB 'members' because many of them either aren't in the Dark Brotherhood proper, or have a different rank assigned to them than in-game messages would imply. Generally, when there is a conflict between the data in the Construction Set and the lore from the questline, we side with the Construction Set. In this case, the CS indicates that there is no connection between any of the Vile Lair NPCs and the Dark Brotherhood. --Saruuk 06:25, 24 September 2007 (EDT)

Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary[edit]

The Dark Brotherhood often scares me, as it is the most popular and most debated guild in Oblivion: what could make killing random people so appealing to players is what ultimately frightens me... Anyways, on the matter at hand: this arguing over a single word is both stupid and taxing. As it stands, I can find nothing in the CS where Ocheeva states that Lachance runs the Sanctuary.

The only pieces of dialogue I could find were:

  • Ours is not the only Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary. There are others, hidden throughout Cyrodiil, each one overseen by a Speaker of the Black Hand.
  • Lucien isn't here very often. His duties with the Black Hand keep him very busy, so he trusts me to keep the Sanctuary in order.

Neither implies that Lachance is actually the Speaker in charge of the Cheydinhal Sanctuary. If you could give me the exact quote she uses, that would be great. --Saruuk 06:33, 25 September 2007 (EDT)

Moving from Saruuk's talk page to stop bugging him. The reason for my comment is that yours appeared to be rather triumphalist. He's a recent changes Patroller and perfectly capable of spotting the change to the relevant page on his own and your comment appeared after an edit war and a series of rather fantastic comments about site policy. If my response was strongly-worded it's because I don't like edit wars and want them over with as quickly as possible. I'm sure we can all play nicely if we try :) --RpehTalk 14:12, 25 September 2007 (EDT)

Why you were removed from the Mentor Program[edit]

This is a courtesy message to inform you that your user profile has been removed from the list of mentors at UESPWiki:Mentor Program, and also to request that you remove the "Mentor" userbox on your user page. If this userbox is not removed within one week from the date of this notice, an administrator will remove it. Please visit the Mentor Program page to see the new expectations of mentors. If you believe you satisfy the expectations of Mentors, then please contact the user who posted this message. The reason you were removed from the list is: "Mentors are expected to have made at least 200 constructive edits, outside of “User” and “Talk” namespaces."

It's been a week, so I've gone ahead and deleted the mentor userbox from your user page. If you become more active on the site and reach the 200 edit requirement (and also have the other requirements as detailed at UESPWiki:Mentor Program), please feel free to join the mentor program at that point. We would welcome the assistance, it's just that we're also trying to make the mentor program as useful as possible for new editors. --NepheleTalk 20:41, 13 November 2007 (EST)

Daggerfall[edit]

I noticed you are on the list of users knowledgeable about Daggerfall. I've been working on getting the Daggerfall Redesign Project back up and running. If you do actually have experience with Daggerfall, please check the page out, and see how you can help out.--Timmeh 22:49, 26 November 2007 (EST)
