NPC Page Layout[edit]
I just changed the "buy" list that appears on NPC pages into a bulleted list, with all text at full size instead of miniaturized. I'm guessing the change might not be universally popular. But I find that the resulting lists are much easier to read and look much more organized. The previous layout, with one long line of interspersed small text and icons, just did not look good in my opinion. So this is an attempt to find a more manageable solution, unless anyone else has any better ideas. --NepheleTalk 19:58, 25 October 2007 (EDT)
- The text was a compromise on my part - I still prefer just having the icons. It's not like they're THAT hard to understand, and they do have alt-text on them. But I can understand why people might want the text. The only problem I had with it was that the linebreaks would often happen between an icon and its relevant text, which I couldn't find any way to make not happen. Also, I wanted to have a space between each text label and the icon after it, but that didn't want to happen either. If you know a way to solve those two problems, that'd be my preference. Putting them into a big column like that seems like a major waste of space, though, especially for those merchants who sell everything or close to it. If you could maybe get them to split evenly into two columns, that'd be better, though I'm not sure if that's possible or not. --TheRealLurlock Talk 22:58, 25 October 2007 (EDT)
