He wears a priest's robe and common shoes. Aside from his natural resistance to fire and the sanctuary provided by his ancestors, he knows the following spells: Absorb Health, Absorb Health (ranged), Almalexia's Grace, Almsivi Intervention, Balyna's Soothing Balm, Detect Enchantment, Divine Intervention, Telekinesis, and Tevral's Hawkshaw.

Dialogue[edit]
- Greeting:
- "A visitor. Welcome, pilgrim, to the Chamber of Artifects. How can I be of service?"
- Artifects†:
- "We are the Artifects. When the Catacombs of Necrom were established as the primary burial site of our people, Sotha Sil taught us magics of his own devising, allowing us to guide the upward expansion of Necrom through sacred rites and songs. The walls shift and rearrange themselves, allowing the catacombs to provide shelter to a next generation of ancestors."
- Background:
- "My name is %Name. Long ago, my ancestors were tasked with overseeing Necrom's expansion. My family has served the Temple as its Artifects ever since."
Tribunal Temple: Warm to the Touch[edit]
- "I do indeed have a scroll that mentions Khalaan, yes. It is actually a complex incantation triggered by a simple melodic sequence. For all the flair and bombast in the inscription though, its effects appear to be just a rudimentary transversal spell. I was primarily interested in the musical applications and the theoretical significance of using a sixteen tone sequence to... oh, forget it, I can see I'm losing you. The point is, this scroll isn't actually all that interesting, from an academic perspective."
- Continue: "Look, I can see you're more of a pragmatist than I am. The scroll is on a table downstairs. I am done with it. Go fetch it, and if you're feeling adventurous, find yourself some six toned instrument and play the sequence in the scroll. Maybe location is important, I don't know. Figure it out. And don't try to use it conventionally, it's got a rather nasty kick to it."
- "Read the scroll, find an instrument, play the music, how hard can it be? Use something with some resonance to it, and with six clear and stable tones, or you'll get nowhere."
Notes[edit]
- † This line isn't specific to Vurvan, but tied to the Chamber of Artifects cell. However, because he's the only NPC in that cell it's essentially the same as being specific to him.
