Astien Lothaire is a Breton mage, the self-described "prodigy of Wayrest", and an over-confident apprentice of the Mages Guild. He is a heavy drinker, and a talented, if unconventional spellcaster, and two traits seem to combine in disastrous fashion. The two quests concerning him chiefly involve tidying up after his calamities.
