Assurbalhet

Assurbalhet is a Velothi tower in the Boethiah's Spine where the owners have met a nasty fate. The tower can only be reached with levitation or a very high acrobatics. It's easiest to find the nearby Mzankh ruin first then head north to Assurbalhet's dome.

Inside the tower is a grim tableau, but one that is almost impossible to decipher. The remains of seven corpses can be found: three in one jail cell and one in another, the latter of which was probably a slave judging by the bracers it still holds; two corpses lie on Velothi altars, unusually embedded in the ground, and the last lies on a bed in the upper chamber, as if asleep.

The tower has been taken over by daedra. A daedroth prowls the topmost chamber, with two clannfears on the level below, while three scamps share the cell with the former slave.

Most treasure inside the tower can be found on the top two levels, where several potions, ingredients and books line the shelves. A couple of bottles of mazte stand on a table overlooking the cell with three corpses, suggesting that the tower's former residents enjoyed a drink while watching their prisoners.
