Old Mouth Tharnabi
Oh, Mouth Tharnabi did come here by and by,
All gleaming and flashy, he came to be dazed.
The last time here the dead he raised.
We could not stop him, we would try and try.
But the dead refused to die!
Yelled drunken we did, screamed and hid.
All Old Mouth Tharnabi did was order more,
Of the inn-keeps precious liquor store,
Never noticed his creature begin to skid,
And not follow as he bid!
Down it fell, crashed on into our poor,
Forgotten half-filled cups and empty plates,
Making our hearts like heavy weights.
At last its wine-dark thick skin was tore,
Spilling back onto the floor.
Of Old Mouth, you'll see no more,
We sent him far, far away.
And there he'll stay,
For we sent him through the Door.
Simple Slave
Simple, simple little slave,
Can you not behave?
Take the cup,
Pour it up,
For my sup.
Do not pour it on your head!
Pour it here instead!
Did you not hear what I said?
Simple, simple little slave,
Can you not behave?
Stand still,
Let me drink my fill,
'Til I end up ill.
Keep away the slightest care!
Don't stand there!
Bring forth the tasty mare!
Simple, simple little slave,
Can you not behave?
Skin so sallow,
Like candle tallow,
You seem so callow.
Keep your hand from that knife!
I have a nagging wife!
Do not take my simple life!
Stand me up,
Take my cup,
Then let the fire burn me up!
Women of the Tamriel
I have long known women far and wide.
From High Rock to Summurset, I've known so many.
High Rock, so much reserved,
I can recall little of at all.
Though they tell me I had...
Far too much fun. I think that's true.
I still have the scars on my back.
I have long known women far and wide.
From High Rock to Summurset, I've known so many.
Hot, dry Hammerfell has oases,
The greatest of them is fair, lush,
Abeida, whose fresh waters,
Kept me alive for nights on end.
So much for lonely deserts!
I have long known women far and wide.
From High Rock to Summurset, I've known so many.
Cyrodiil, have I seen so much,
Of the women painted in blush!
Proper they seem, until dark.
Then they seem unrestrained so long,
As your not their dear, dear husband.
I have long known women far and wide.
From High Rock to Summurset, I've known so many.
In Valenwood they have a Song,
Young and Leering, worth hearing.
So beautiful, so stunning,
She is, you'll not believe her real,
Until you've felt her soft skin.
I have long known women far and wide.
From High Rock to Summurset, I've known so many.
But here at home in Morrowind,
I know only one lone woman,
And she won't let me in.
She is my wife, she knows me well,
And she knows where I have been.
I have long known women far and wide.
And because of that I cannot get in my home.
Nightly Prayers
For the Tribunal we pray,
Continued success!
So pour me a drink in excess!
For Saint Nerevar we pray,
Strength and honor!
So pour me one drink more!
For Saint Veloth we pray,
Guidance in seeking!
So pour me a glass for drinking!
For Saint Rilms we pray,
Alms to spare!
So pour me a drink for my care!
For Saint Aralor we pray,
Greater respect!
So pour me the drink I expect!
For Saint Seryn we pray,
Mercy humble!
So pour me a drink lest I stumble!
For Saint Felms we pray,
Justice inspired!
So pour me the drink required!
For Saint Roris we pray,
Justified pride!
So pour me a drink for our vengeance cried!
For Saint Olms we pray,
Just repentance!
So pour me a drink to go with his sentence!
For Saint Delyn we pray,
Wisdom benevolent!
So pour me a drink lest I become malevolent!
For Saint Meris we pray,
Peace and good-feeling!
So pour me a drink in honor of her healing!
For Saint Llothis we pray,
Reverence and piety!
There's not more drink? What a pity.
Kinsman Llohs
Kinsman Llohs is quite a dandy,
With the ladies of the town he is most handy.
All day he'll spend helping with women's errands,
And half the night as well, so long as he can use his hands.
For he is a warrior, proud and strong,
Of his brave deeds you'll hear many a song.
But sometimes he is wounded upon his finger.
And when that happens his tears do linger,
For only a moment or two, until he sees one,
Whose appearance makes him bite his tongue,
As he tries to speak of her beauty.
Yes, he is the treasure of the community.
But few know where to look for him by day.
From his house he is ever away.
Always helping the most elegant in shape,
Move a crate, find a book, or fix a drape.
Oh, yes he is most helpful to those who come to call,
Especially if her hair is dark and she stands tall.
Honorable he is at all great occasions,
Always guarding his assigned locations.
Unless, of course his help is needed,
By one whose skirt is delightfully pleated.
Charitable he is, giving much to those in need.
And rarely will his heart be moved by those who plead,
That one mer's heart cannot be given so casually.
For he is a mer who loves most fanatically.
