Summon Saints & Seducers[edit]
I'm pretty sure you get this ability after becoming the duke/duchess of their realm, not from the Cold Flame of Agnon quest. — Unsigned comment by 70.64.131.84 (talk)
- Good eye. You are absolutely correct, changed. --AlbinoMudcrab 16:36, 24 May 2007 (EDT)
Summon Flesh Atronach?[edit]
It's says on the page that there is a normal spell for summoning flesh atronach (not the greater power one). Which NPC sells it?
- There are normal spells for summoning Flesh Atronachs (4 versions), however these can only be cast by Zealot NPC's. There are no means to acquire this spell for yourself, save from adding it with the console. --Timenn 07:34, 16 April 2007 (EDT)
- I haven't played SI but isn't it possible to make a custom spell at Spellmaking Altars once you acquire the ffect so you can use it more than once a day? Or are these spells disabled at the Spellmaking Altar? --Sundaroct131088 20:36, 24 September 2007 (EDT)
Manipulate Weather Bonus Effects[edit]
I was watching my girlfriend play with her character that's completed the main Shivering Isles questline, and she gave the Manipulate Weather spell a try. It seems that you get different bonus effects that apply to you depending on the type of weather randomly generated. She's using that computer for something else now, so I can't get details from the game or via the CS, but if someone else can, the description for Manipulate Weather probably needs to be expanded.
- There, finally got a chance to look this up in the construction set and try it out. I've added the info to the page; someone who can wiki better than I can is free to make it look pretty.
Mirror this page with Oblivion:Magic?[edit]
This page now only lists Greater and Lesser Powers and links to Spell Merchants. Should the page not mirror Oblivion:Magic, with only the stuff that is updated in the Shivering Isles?
In other words; only provide links to certain sections from this page. Thoughts on possible links:
- Powers (Greater and Lesser)
- Spell Merchants
- Magic Items
- Artifacts
- Ingredients
- Alchemy Effects (updated for the new ingredients)

Sheogorath's Protection Glitch[edit]
Just found this a few hours ago - if one activates the Sheogorath's Protection Greater Power and dies whilst already inside the Palace, a glitch will occur. Haskill appears slightly above the ground and on contact with the floor, the game will momentarily freeze and reset the player's viewpoint to a centered view. The player's controls remain locked, and the Court Healer will not approach and cast her spell. Of course, one may still get to the Pause menu, allowing a reload. A minor glitch, since it's rather unlikely that you'll die in the Palace. --Kurai-sama 15:47, 26 April 2007 (GMT +3)
- Yes, this bug is reproducable. Haskill seems to get stucked sliding off the stair and be placed back at the previous step again. Other actors will do anything and controls are locked. Not a serious glitch (because it's unlikely to die in the Throne Room as you said.) but a glitch nonetheless. Could be reported in Shivering:Glitches. --Timenn 09:33, 26 April 2007 (EDT)
Added. --Kurai-sama 11:35, 27 April 2007 (GMT +3)
Risen Flesh[edit]
Is it possible to create a spell with the same effects as risen flesh at the spellmaking alters in Cyrodiil once you have obtained the spell in Shivering isles?
- I don't think so. I'm quite sure script effects can't be included in custom spells. --Saruuk 07:30, 15 August 2007 (EDT)
- It's not possible. The only way to use the spell effect 'reanimate' is via the spell risen flesh or via the Staff of Worms. (obtained at the end of the Mages Guild quest line.)--LordDagon 08:37, 10 February 2008 (EST)
- Reanimate isnt a script effect...i did make that effect into a normal spell on the 360 but you have to mod to do it — Unsigned comment by 173.80.247.50 (talk) on 11 September 2009
- How did you mod it on the 360?--88.90.174.44 17:13, 22 November 2009 (UTC)
- You cannot legally mod the Xbox360. –Elliot talk 10:03, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
- You can simply add the spell using the console if you have the PC version, thats what I did, since i had the staff of worms, but it has HORRIBLE aim, even if your using the 1st person view, and risen flash is a once-a-day power, so I added it using AddSpell "Reanimate" and it worked perfectly, it costs about 35 magicka and you need to be a jouneyman at conjuration (but I just use god mode since Im not good enough at conjuration)
- Btw, did i spell conjuration right? lol

Usable spells[edit]
Can someone please provide a list of the spells that can be obtained in the Shivering Isles, but work in Cyrodiil e.g Summons? — Unsigned comment by Merco (talk • contribs)
- If I am correct, all spells that can be acquired in the Shivering:Shivering Isles work outside the Isles too. With 3 exceptions; Manipulate Weather, Summon Haskill and Sheogorath's Protection. More precisely, every spell acquired in the game can be used everywhere unless stated otherwise in the spell's description. --Timenn 10:13, 15 August 2007 (EDT)
Raising skill levels[edit]
If you cast summon Haskill, does it raise your conjuration level? — Unsigned comment by Merco (talk • contribs)
- Summon Haskill is a Lesser Power. So it won't raise any skills. --Mankar Camoran•T•C•E• 13:51, 7 November 2007 (EST)
Low Level Flesh Atronach[edit]
Am I correct in thinking that it is only possible for the player to summon one type of Flesh Atronach, regardless of their level? By 'one type', I am referring to the Mangled variety. --Merco 14:49, 1 March 2008 (EST)
- At a low level I received a summon Mangled Flesh Atronach, my level 38 character got the Mended Flesh Atronach. So no...--Morgoth
60 sec summoning spell[edit]
i dont know whether this is right but i have a summon dark suducer for 120 sec's AND a summon golden saint for 60 sec's
i know that i got the golden saint from becoming duke of mainia and the dark suducer from helping them at Pinnacle rock.
it's strange that the listing doesn't list the 60sec version of the spell (Warmanivan 10:35, 11 October 2008 (EDT))
- It does list the 60s version. Look towards the top of the list. –Rpeh•T•C•E• 10:48, 11 October 2008 (EDT)
whoops i got dis tracted by the gatekeeper ones
(gone Red)
Larger Icons[edit]
Does anyone know where I can find larger images for the summon Golden Saint, Dark Seducer, and Flesh Atronach icons?

Scripted spells icons[edit]
Shouldn't it be mentioned somewhere that there are unused icons for Summon Haskill, Sheogorath's Protection and Manipulate Weather in the SI texture BSA file? — Balthazar 15:04, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
- Normally, we don't document things that aren't used in the game. There are a lot of things in the various files that aren't used and since they're not normally accessible outside of mods or console commands, there's really no point. ‒ Robin Hood↝Talk 15:40, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
Sheogorath's Protection[edit]
I assume that the power brings you to the palace before you're actually dead, except for the glitch, but at what amount of hp does it bring you there? --DKong27 Talk 00:29, 13 June 2010 (UTC)
- The power (found in SE14ProtectionScript, for the curious) is specifically set up to account for either you being dead (which requires resurrection) or you being at low health. It defines low health as being at less than 1/5 of your hit points the last time you entered the throne room. ‒ Robin Hood↝talk 03:42, 13 June 2010 (UTC)

- I've never experianced the glitch of reserection, do you just have to die while the spell is active or is there other factors? Andil the mage 20:44, 12 October 2011 (UTC)

silenced[edit]
can someone else check if powers can be silenced, while I was silenced I couldnt cast any of the summon powers (gatekeeper or golden saint or dark seducer) or the sheogoraths protection. MikeTalk
