Errors in links?

Something strange is happening in the pages for chapters 2 and above. In the edit preview the "next chapter" link works, but when I save the edit the link becomes just text. Opening the page to edit and selecting "show preview" without changing anything enables the links again though. Is there any fix for this? Contraptions (talk) 18:03, 20 July 2016 (UTC)

This may not be technically correct but the essence is true. The pages have a saved copy on the database where the next chapter did not exist when the pages were created. When you edit you see an up-to-date version where the next chapter is an actual page. Saving without doing anything or purging the page will force it to update on the server, but leaving it is fine as they will update themselves over time.
