Question about pickpocket targets[edit]

Maybe someone can point out a few more details as to the first goal? It is easy to pickpocket *any* treasure by just pickpocketing someone. But the text "search areas near entertainers" hints more at stealing than pickpocketing ... and who do you pickpocket? The audience? Do THEY carry something the entertainers will miss? Or the entertainers? But why then say "search areas near" instead of "steal from entertainers" ... hopelessly confused with that quest and I always end up 0/3 with that one ... 87.157.215.209 21:16, 5 June 2016 (UTC)

Hm, actually with the latest patch you should now be able to see the "type" of each pickpocket target, such as "noble", "laborer", "fisherman", and there should be an "entertainer" type, or similar. That should make the whole thing much easier because you can find the correct targets more effectively. I'm not 100% on how this works, but something like this? Tib (talk) 21:21, 5 June 2016 (UTC)
I've started adding the loottype parameter to NPCs.... I haven't yet added it to the template, so it doesn't appear on pages just yet, but eventually it will. Jeancey (talk) 21:49, 5 June 2016 (UTC)
Ah, I wondered if that was what that was. Might as well get those showing up, then! --Enodoc (talk) 23:08, 5 June 2016 (UTC)
This quest isn't exactly bugged, but it's unclear. You don't have to pickpocket entertainers, or even people near entertainers. In fact, the quest description might be just mis-labled or mis-translated from "artisans" (people who create things and/or art). I found "entertainment supplies" or whatever on normal people near crafting stations in more than one city, nowhere near anyone playing an instrument or juggling knives.
