Dialogue[edit]

When you first encounter Yumaref:

"This is terrible! I've lost everything and that smuggler doesn't even care!"'

After you have agreed to help find the refugees' missing items, Yumaref can be asked further questions.

"My daughter won't even speak to me. Watch this. Alida! Alida!
She's never forgiven me for our problems. Well, I've got trouble of my own."
What sort of trouble?
"Most of my money went to purchase land in Elsweyr for my daughter and me.
The rest of my gold went to these opportunistic smugglers, and what happens? We're attacked, and they steal my promissory note! Now I can't reclaim my land!"
So they took your promissory note./And the Imperials took your promissory note.
"Those Imperials took one look at it and knew how valuable it was. That piece of paper secures a future for my daughter and me. I have nothing else now, thanks to the Caravan Company!"
What's wrong with the Caravan Company?
"They're liars, sucking away our savings while promising us a safe passage!
Our numbers were twice this big until that incompetent smuggler led us into an ambush. They've already taken our money, so if we die now, it won't matter."
I'll make sure to find it for you./I'll make sure to find your note for you.
"Please, without that document I don't know what I'll do. Find it, and at least I have something for my daughter."

Once the quest is completed:

"I am eternally grateful for this act of kindness. With this, my daughter's future is safe."
