A Wisp of Light

Wisps of Light are strange orbs of light that can be found in the Moonless Walk. When used in conjunction with spriggan bark, it allows you to mask your presence to nearby Shadow Walkers, although inconsistently.

It will only mask your presence to the Shadow Runner as well as the guardians Arengo the Shadow and Balia the Light during the related quests. None of the generic Shadow Walkers enemies in the main camp or wildlife in the woods are affected by the effect.

Bugs

• The status effect granted by the Wisp of Light, "Lighting the Way", is a timed effect with a corresponding animation and sound. There is an unknown chance that the animation and sound will continue indefinitely after the status effect timer expires. It is unclear whether the actual effect also continues and simply is not listed in the interface. ^?
  • The bug can be resolved by logging out and then logging back in.
