The Wayward Guardians need silver ore to coat their arms and armor in order to better fight against the Gray Host. Ardanir asked me to bring him some from the Dwarven ruins of Bthar-Zel.
Quick Walkthrough[edit]
- Travel to Bthar-Zel.
- In the main chamber collect the Enchanted Silver Ore.
- Return to Ardanir in Markarth.
Detailed Walkthrough[edit]
Ardanir would have you collect silver ore from the Dwarven ruins of Bthar-Zel. Silver has a proven effect against creatures like the vampires and werewolves of the Gray Host, and the Wayward Guardians need some so they can coat their weapons and armor in it. The ore from Bthar-Zel has been enchanted which makes it especially potent.
Travel to Bthar-Zel teleporting to the Arkthzand Wayshrine and heading north to the ruin's entrance. In the large western chamber with the waterwheel, you can find the Enchanted Silver Ore. Collect three pieces of ore and then return to Markarth to hand the over to Ardanir.
- Here's the silver ore you asked for.
- "Perfect, harrier! This will give us the edge we need against the Gray Host.
Take this with my thanks. Once again, you prove yourself to be a true friend to the Reach."
