Tharn Doppelganger

Tharn Doppelganger is a facsimile of Abnur Tharn created by the Duchess of Anguish to torture Sai Sahan who spent years trying to resurrect the ancient sword-singing techniques and failing, something that left quite the impression on him.

The facsimile uses his own sword and purported sword-singing techniques, boasting about how easy it was to learn. He will periodically summon a Skeletal Sword Saint into battle.

As you enter the Halls, you'll hear Tharn torturing Sai Sahan:

Tharn Doppelganger: "Where is the Amulet of Kings? Tell me, or I'll gut you like a fish with your own sword!"

As you fight him:

Tharn Doppelganger: "You see how simple it is to be a sword-singer, Sai?"

When he is summoning undead sword-singers:

Tharn Doppelganger: "Witness the deadly power of my dark sword-singers!"

Tharn Doppelganger: "Slice them to ribbons!"

At one point, the following interaction was meant to play out:

Tharn Doppelganger: "Your life is a lie, Sai Sahan. You failed to become a sword-singer. You failed in your sworn duty to protect your Emperor. To this day your former companions mock you for your incompetence and call you a fool!"

Sai Sahan: "No! You are not real! I have heard your lies and borne your torment, day after day, year after year! You will not break me!"
