Dialogue[edit]

When interacting with Marafar, she will say one of the following:

"All the Daedra I've ever met were bored with their immortality. Ha! Can you imagine? Being bored with a place as fathomless as Oblivion?"
"Hmm, you took far too worldly to help me. If you by chance happen to know a mortal who wouldn't mind gambling their life away to a Dremora, do let me know! Purely for research, you understand."
"I had a little clannfear follow me around for a bit while I was out exploring the Deadlands. It was perfectly pleasant to me. Only tried to eat me once, as I recall. I named them Altaba."
"I hope the Psijic Order is ready for someone like me! I'm told I can be quite the handful."
"I hope the Ritemaster appreciates my research into Daedric games of chance! It really is a fascinating aspect of their culture. For beings with no concept of material wealth, they certainly love gambling for other things!"
"I may be a lowly member of the Psijic Order, but my experiences in Oblivion are going to be invaluable! I'll prove myself and advance in rank in no time!"
"I may have finished my studies to become relic-apprentice, but a Psijic's life consists of gathering and advancing knowledge in all fields. I suppose one stage of my learning has ended, but another is just beginning."
"I wish I had another three arms to help me write down all my research. I'm going to fill up an entire library! Good thing the Psijic Order has so many of the blasted things."
"I wonder where I'll put my collection of Daedric urns? I have close to thirty now. A few of them are still full. One of these days I'll get around to cataloging them. I don't think they contain anything too dangerous, but you never can tell."
"I'm not looking forward to slowing down after my studies. I hope the Psijic Order can keep me busy."
"I'm not supposed to talk about this, but I'm so excited! I just completed my studies and I've been promoted to relic-apprentice for the Ritemaster of the Psijic Order! I just had to share the news, but don't tell anyone, all right?"
"I'm really not supposed to talk about the Psijic Order. Or Artaeum. Or Daedric relics for that matter. So let's see. What does that leave us? Read any good tomes or scrolls lately?"
"It's nice to have somewhere to put my head down. The Deadlands are fascinating, but there are only so many times a woman can sleep on a pile of molten rocks."
"I've been to the Deadlands, Fargrave, a pocket realm without a name that was nothing but a ball of dust ... so many places! But this is a nice change. It's practically normal! No offense to the order intended."
"Litaalar was always one step ahead of me during our training. I may not be a stronger mage than her, but I'm certainly more well-traveled! She wouldn't know the Deadlands from a pond in Summerset!"
"No one believed I'd have the nerve to finish my studies in Oblivion. None of them gambled away their pants in a Fargrave alley, though, did they? Not likely!"
"Oh, Litaalar is going to be so jealous when she reads my thesis! She's always been so smug about her research into the demiplanes of Oblivion. I'll show her!"
"The food in Oblivion is strange, but I think I got used to it during my travels. Everything back in the mortal realm just tastes so ... cautious by comparison."
"What can I tell you about the Psijic Order without betraying my oath? Hmm. We're the oldest monastic group of Tamriel. And we're devoted to the study and practice of Mysticism. The Old Ways. And we live on Artaum. Hmm. Maybe I've said too much."

After completing the Summerset questline:

"I wonder if Ritemaster Valsirenn will read my thesis on Daedric gambling? Perhaps I should replace some of the more ... colorful language."

After having completed certain Deadlands quests:

"The Psijic Order took quite an interest in your battle against Mehrunes Dagon. I only wish I'd been there to take notes! You must tell me all about it!"

The following dialogue may not occur unless certain in-game conditions are met:

"You've been to Artaeum, haven't you? Not many people can say that. The island isn't exactly on any maps. Well, not anymore."
