Reflective Spirit

The Reflective Spirit is a wraith found inside Wind Keep. The Spirit is connected to the mirror recently gifted to Countess Ilise Manteau and considers the countess herself a gift to itself, and does not plan on relinquishing her.

Dialogue

Once Ilise's Mirror is touched, the spirit will manifest.

Reflective Spirit: "This mirror is not for your eyes. Look away. Go away."

The Reflective Spirit can be spoken to to find out what is happening.

"You look into the mirror seeking answers, but there are no answers here for you.
I am here for the countess alone. You would be wise to be on your way."

What have you done to the countess?

"I have taken the countess away, but it was with no animosity.
The countess you see before you is the reflection. The true countess is in the mirror and that is where she will stay."

Release her.

"I will not. The mirror is the gift to her, but she is the gift to me.
If you wish to release, you'll have to pass through to the other side into my domain. You shall find a warm welcome there."

If spoken to again, it will say:

"Oh yes, I can sense that you want to be the hero. But to rescue the countess, you will have to come through into my world!
Please. Do come in!"

• Once the true Duchess is retrieved, the Spirit will disappear from the game, curiously appearing to have done nothing to stop this from happening.
