Kathner the Cunning

Kathner the Cunning is a Breton storm mage found in the Crimson Cove. He's in charge of handling the pirates' ogres. He must be defeated before Flat Tooth can be fought. Stepping into the green magical field surrounding the ogres causes you to be transported over to a rune at the other end of the room, incapacitating you briefly.

A letter addressed to him details his affair with an Argonian beast handler, who asks him to retire from raiding and join them at the "Crucible". The letter implies that the sender is the one who's buying the ogres from the raiders.

Dialogue

When you engage him in combat, he will yell at you.

Kathner the Cunning: "Who let these rats in? I've got spells prepared for vermin like you."

Kathner the Cunning: "Excellent. More meat sacks for the ogres!"

Kathner the Cunning: "I may be old, but I still have some fight in me. Have at you!"
