Initiate Favar is a Dark Elf Apostle who was investigating the Shadow Cleft. Adjunct Daro asks you to locate him as part of the related daily quest.
He can be found down the waterfall to the east, in a room to the rear of the ruin. Initiate Favar is carrying the Apostle Plaque of Recognition on him, which is required to complete the quest.
