The Indistinct Spirit is an unidentifiable spirit that can appear at an Old Life shrine during the quest Old Life Observance. It can appear even if you have met the conditions for other possible spirits to appear to you instead.
Although the related quest was originally added for the 2020 New Life Festival, the Indistinct Spirit wasn't added until the 2021 New Life Festival.
