Exploring Before Related Quests[edit]

going here on your own without the quest, will it mess up the knights of the nine quest? — Unsigned comment by 69.203.96.197 (talk) at 20:08 on 16 August 2007‎

Given that you can't get anywhere of interest in the ruin until the quest starts, no, you won't glitch the quest if you enter it ahead of time. --NepheleTalk 20:05, 16 August 2007 (EDT)

Sir Amiel's Key keeps quest item status...[edit]

I've completed the KotN questline, and the quest flag was never removed from Sir Amiel's Key (GotY, with the three applicable unofficial patches installed). I had to use the setquestobject command and remove it manually.

If this isn't just me, a note should probably be added. — Unsigned comment by ‎65.94.157.17 (talk) at 04:40 on 1 October 2009

I encountered this too, considering it's currently fixed in the Unofficial Mods Patch I've decided to add the bug note to its The Shrine of the Crusader related quest article. I still have to look into the conditions that cause this to happen. --Timenn-<talk> 11:00, 8 October 2009 (UTC)

Zone 1, push-block on the western wall[edit]

The map and my playing the game puts the push-block opening J on the western wall. Now it says eastern wall. -- MartinS 46.162.71.111 23:20, 22 January 2011 (UTC)

Well, if you take a look on the map, the opening is on the eastern wall; feel free to improve the article, if you think it could be better. --Krusty 00:11, 23 January 2011 (UTC)
I'm not quite sure what you mean...Where does it say Eastern wall? --DKong27 Talk Cont 00:12, 23 January 2011 (UTC)
Oops, I misunderstood the question. I corrected the article. --Krusty 07:56, 23 January 2011 (UTC)

Hard to reach area[edit]

I think it's worth noting that this part of the Shrine of the Crusader can only be reached with some out-of-the-box thinking or ridiculously high Acrobatics, despite the fact that enemies spawn there.

Also, I don't know if anyone else experienced it, but I had a wraith spawn on top of that room's ceiling for some reason, reachable only with TCL. - ZuTheSkunk (talk) 18:58, 6 December 2014 (GMT)

When do the gold amounts for the chests here get set?[edit]

Is it when you enter Vanua the first time, or when you start The Shrine of the Crusader, or even when you start Pilgrimage? I'm asking because the amounts seem to be really low in my game.

I started a brand new game. I did Pilgrimage and got the vision from Pelinal for this quest relatively early on. I then did pretty much everything else you can do in the base game (main quest, all the guilds, all the daedric quests, etc). When I was done with all that, I was level 33, and if I went into a dungeon that I'd never been in before, the non-boss chests would usually have somewhere around 75 to 85 gold.

When I came back to this quest, and went into Vanua for the first time ever, the non-boss chests only had around 18 to 22 gold. Is that happening because I got the vision from Pelinal really early in the game, when I was at a low level? Or is there some other reason why the amounts are so low?

Thanks!
