Morrowind talk:Smuggling
The UESPWiki – Your source for The Elder Scrolls since 1995
Proposed for Deletion[edit]
This page has had no substantial update for over a decade now and has been incomplete for much longer. It contains very few, if any, noteworthy material. Most of it are either rephrases of and/or inferences from existing content elsewhere.
- Aside from Morrowind, it also mentions the smuggling situation in Elsweyr, which does not belong to this namespace. Might be notable in lore... but not here.
- The list of contraband goods are just rephrasing a quote from MW:Addhiranirr; also, they are explained in better detail in MW:Crime#Contraband and MW:Slaves.
- Misinformation / speculation: It claims the Camonna Tong controls the smuggling operations in the Bitter Coast. However, there are many smugglers that are not even connected to the Camonna Tong.
- It rephrases a quote from MW:Arrille saying smugglers can be killed on sight... but he also says the same of bandits and outlaws yet they don't get (or even need) special pages of their own.
The list of pages with links to this one can do just as well without.
- Bitter Coast and the Inner Sea — "There's a lot of smuggling going on in these places!"
- Punammu and Saturan — "These are smugglers' caves; there are other caves but they're not linked here and they're doing fine."
- Brilnosu Llarys — "Her group smuggles slaves; there are other groups but..."
- Moon Sugar — "This is a smuggled item; there are other items but..."
Thus, proposing this page for deletion. Salamangkero (talk) 10:33, 2 August 2024 (UTC)
- Agreed, there is no gameplay mechanic for smuggling. Lore:Smuggling would be a good companion to Lore:Piracy, though. —Dillonn241 (talk) 10:47, 3 August 2024 (UTC)
