Breton or Argonian?[edit]

Not sure if this is just the version I have or some other weird bug, but he calls me an Argonian each time he attacks me. And I'm a Breton! Is it just the daedric face of terror fooling him...? — Unsigned comment by 88.195.60.41 (talk)

No, it's a bug in the dialogue entries for the combat sounds. I can't remember off-hand which entries are affected, but there are a number of entries that check for the wrong race. There's also a couple that check for the wrong sex, so females get 'yes sir' off certain Dunmer, for example. --Gaebrial 05:33, 6 May 2008 (EDT)

Chest lock 35?[edit]

Doesn't the chest with the artefacts have a 75 lock? I'm not running back to Hla Oad right now to find out, but if someone could check...? 213.39.176.64 13:20, 2 June 2008 (EDT)

Nope. 35 it is. –RpehTCE 14:31, 2 June 2008 (EDT)
There is a chest with a level 75 lock in the room, but it's not the one with the artifacts. --Gaebrial 02:47, 3 June 2008 (EDT)
Aha, that explains the mix-up. Thanks! --Aelina 05:51, 3 June 2008 (EDT)

Alternative solution[edit]

I doubt that it should be mentioned in the article, but i'll leave it here. If you're progressing Thieves' Guild questline along with the main quest - you can synchronize this quest with a search for the Dwemer puzzle wanted by Hasphat Antabolis. These three items can be obtained in the same ruins as the puzzle. But in this case don't forget to have a way of fighting ghosts :) — Unsigned comment by ‎46.98.44.17 (talk) at 11:02 on June 21, 2014

Another Alternative Solution[edit]

Wait until Ra'Zhid goes behind pole so he can't see you open the chest.
