Alfhedil Elf-Hewer

Alfhedil Elf-Hewer, a Nord barbarian, is the master trainer of the Axe skill, a major trainer in Blunt Weapon and Medium Armor, and can be found in the upper level of Falensarano Stronghold behind a trapped door. Apparently he has come to some agreement with the surrounding hostile witches.

Also of note is that he is the second-highest existing trainer of Medium Armor in the game.

He is wearing a near full set of Nordic fur armor including the cuirass, both pauldrons, both bracers, greaves, and boots. He is also wearing common pants and wielding a Nordic battle axe. Aside from his natural resistance to shock, immunity to frost, ability to shield himself, and a natural frost damage spell, he knows the following spells: Absorb Health [Ranged], Absorb Spell Points [Ranged], Rilm's Gift, Seryn's Blessing, Variable Resist Common Disease, Strong Resist Fire, Variable Resist Fire, Strong Resist Frost, Variable Resist Frost, Strong Resist Magicka, Variable Resist Magicka, Strong Resist Poison, Variable Resist Poison, Strong Resist Shock, and Variable Resist Shock.

Notes[edit]

  • Alfhedil is mentioned in the book The Third Door, a skill book for Axe.
  • The room he is in also contains two chests. One has gold in it, while the other contains axes, one of which is an ebony war axe. Feel free to take them, as Alfhedil won't do anything.
  • Alfhedil's sobriquet, Elf-Hewer, seems to be warranted, as the shelves on his wall are filled with skulls that appear to be elven, given their elongated forehead and jaws.
