The higher ranks of the Imperial Legion?[edit]

Knights of the Dragon in ESO[edit]
In ESO, you can talk to Chamberlain Croix, chamberlain to King Casimir of Daggerfall. When you ask him about the king, he says, "Our lordship defends Daggerfall. He will not let our proud history be forgotten. We may be part of the Covenant, but it was he who insisted the Knights of the Dragon be maintained as a separate entity."
I think that line about the Knights is interesting and should be added. However, I though I should bring it up here first.--D'arht-si (talk) 11:40, 3 April 2015 (GMT)
- That does sound interesting. So it means that during the Alliance War, the Knights of the Dragon were not subsumed into the Covenant military force but kept independent as a special force? Feel free to add that information to the article, and I or some other helpful editor can take care of any issues with formatting or citing. - That's exactly my thinking as well. I'll add it now, but while I have your attention, what do I do about reference? Would "Events in Elder Scrolls Online" suffice or should I also include the NPC's name? I hope to add a lot of the lore from ESO, as I'm screenshotting everything! - We like references to be as specific as possible so later users can most easily track down the original in-game source of information to verify it if they so desire. So for an NPC's dialogue you should cite them directly and link to their wiki page. Obviously the vast majority of ESO NPCs don't have dialogue recorded for them yet, but ideally it should show up on their page eventually. So for this, the reference would be something like:
{{ref|[[Online:Chamberlain Croix|]]'s dialogue in [[Online:Online|ESO]]}}-- Hargrimm(T) 15:25, 3 April 2015 (GMT)
