I don't know the quest at all so... this /desc currently says, "...some ingredient..." Should it be "...some indredients..." or "...an ingredient..."? --GuildKnightTalk2me 01:07, 8 November 2008 (EST)

Well, it's only one ingredient, but to my knowledge the indefinite numeral "some" can also be used as singular, so I thought there is no problem.--PLRDLF 11:55, 9 November 2008 (EST)
No... well... not normally. You might say "I bought it from some guy" (meaning one) but it's not standard usage. In this case, "Collect some ingredient" implies "one" but it's more colloquial than should be used on UESP. –RpehTCE 12:40, 9 November 2008 (EST)
I vote for "an ingredient". For one thing, that's the wording used on a couple of other quests involving going into a dungeon and retrieving an ingredient, so it has precedent. Since there's no quest page yet, and I don't have Daggerfall, I don't know what type of ingredient it is, and if it's one that is plural in name even if there's only one. (E.g. Oblivion:Flax Seeds - always plural even when it isn't.) If it's something like that "some ingredients" might be acceptable, but I'd say "an ingredient" is just more accurate and less likely to cause confusion in either case. --TheRealLurlock Talk 12:49, 9 November 2008 (EST)
