Jena Matius says Goblins are hiding out in her patch of forest. I need to root them out.

Detailed Walkthrough

Starting Off

To get this quest, you have to complete The Goblin Scourge four times, speak to Gaius and he will say:

"Ho, Goblin Slayer. Jena Matius, one of our woodcutters, has a goblin problem. I told her you'd lend a hand."

I'll see what I can do.

I'm busy.

"Are you? The usual award still applies, you know. Plus whatever Jena can muster."

I'll see.

"Suit yourself. If you change your mind, let her know."

When you put it that way…

"Just as I thought. Go find her, she'll give you the details."

Go and speak to Jena Matius:

"Are you here to help me with these pesky goblins?"

Yes.

"Oh, thank goodness! A group of goblins have been seen in my neck of the woods.
Normally, I'd be happy to share the forest, but those creatures are awful! Would you get rid of them for me?"

I'll take care of them.

"Thank you! But… do be careful. They are vicious, and smarter than you'd think."

I will.

"Good luck!"

Clear The Forest

The secret area lever

You will start in a forest where after a short walk you will be attacked by two wolves, deal with them and continue on, you will encounter another two wolves. Eventually, you will walk into a Red Fang goblin camp, where three Red Fang warriors will attack you. After killing them, collect the chest that was behind them and then look to your left, you should be able to see a skull lever that unlocks the secret area, with the door being to the left of the lever. In this secret area there are two wooden chests.

Continue onwards and you will encounter two White Ghost warriors, after dealing with them continue on and you will spot a wooden chest guarded by two goblin warriors. You then have two pathway options, if you go down the wooden pathway and it will take you to a grove area with a spriggan but other than this, it is a dead end. The other path takes you down the right way to a Red Fang warrior, White Ghost warrior and a White Ghost shaman. Once these goblins are killed, the quest will end, make sure you press explore and collect the wooden chest that was behind the three goblins.

Post-Quest

Once you are back in town, speak to Gaius:

"You've got the air of someone who's been killing goblins. The stench, I should say. It went well, then?"

The goblins are teaming up.

"I beg your pardon? What do you mean, "teaming up"?"

They had markings from multiple tribes.

"And they weren't at each other's throats?"

No, just mine.

"Damn. That's the last thing this town needs. Just this morning I thought, things just can't get any worse. Now we've got the Empire's very first goblin alliance on our backs? Hmm… Before I can report this to the Empire, we'd better be certain. Let me do some checking around. I'll let you know what I find."
