The Lost Roscrean Blade

The Lost Roscrean Blade is an ancient mithril sword once wielded by the chiefs of the Bear Cult of Roscrea. It was presented as a trophy to Uriel V following the Imperial invasion of Roscrea, but was subsequently lost at sea while being transported back to Tamriel. During the related quest you will be able to retrieve it from its watery resting place in Pilgrim's Trench.

Its main enchantment is to provide the wielder with the strength of a Bear Spirit, increasing attack damage by 30%. In addition, it also deals additional damage to elves, namely High Elves, Wood Elves, Dark Elves, and Falmer. These enchantments mean the blade's damage is above the base damage of most other one-handed swords, while its Mithril construction ensures it swings faster and weighs less.

The blade's sides are engraved with beautiful flowing designs of various animals, including bears and whales.
