Midwen

Midwen is a Wood Elf alchemist who owns a small herbalist shop in the Bravil Riverside settlement outside Bravil.

Her routine is simple. She rises at 7am every morning and opens her shop for business; she remains open until 11pm, then closes up and goes to bed.

Midwen wears a green wool shirt, breeches, and stitched leather shoes, and carries the key to her shop.

Midwen's shop is difficult to find for those who don't know of it - it has only a small sign outside with a six-pointed star on it. Most of the ground floor consists of her shop; a counter holds various plants, herbs, and miscellany, while more shelves behind the counter contain bottles, jars, packets, small barrels, potted plants, and alchemical ingredients, all neatly stored and labeled. The rest of the ground floor, which isn't visible to the public, is her living quarters and work area. She has a bed, table, and washbasin there. A loft above the shop holds a bedroll in case she needs to treat someone on-site; otherwise, the space is used for storage.

The first time you enter her shop, she'll greet you warmly and ask for your help: "Welcome to my shop. If you want herbs, you're in the right place. You wouldn't happen to have any rotten apples, would you?" If you ask about the apples, she explains: "I've been trying to perfect some new medicine to help with the victims in the plague house. I think something in rotting apples may be just what I need, but I cannot wait for a bunch of apples to go bad! If you could bring me fifteen rotten apples, I would be most grateful."
