Lucia Macrinia, aka Lucia the Pet-Lover, is an Imperial noble who has a large number of animals in her house in Bruma. She is experienced with herbs, healing, and dealing with animals, and so is a candidate for Rangers Guild recruitment.
Lucia rises early (at 4am) to take care of her animals. On Middas, she goes to Kraken's Spa at 6am for a morning swim and a massage; every other day, she spends the morning in her house. No matter the day, she sits down to eat lunch at 11am for two hours, then resumes tending to her pets until she goes to bed at 6pm.
She wears a blue velvet dress and blue suede shoes, and carries a large amount of gold.
Lucia's house is located in western Bruma, at the far southern end of the level below the castle. Since various animals run free in here, it is sparsely furnished. The front door leads to an open area that has a fireplace with a bench before it, and a cage in the corner; stairs lead to the lower level, where Lucia has a dining table and chair before another hearth (this one for cooking); a cupboard sits nearby, and a bed occupies the corner.
The first time you talk to her, she'll express surprise: "Oh goodness, I wasn't expecting company! Please do excuse the mess. Lucy! Get down from there... don't worry, she doesn't bite." If you ask why she has so many animals, she replies: "Ohhh, because I love them! Those cute little feet, those cute little eyes, their big fluffy coats! I love everything about them! Oops, watch your step! Heh heh, maybe I don't love everything about them." If you ask if they're wild animals, she says: "Of course! Where else would I have gotten a timber wolf, or a black bear?" If you ask if they're dangerous, she says: "Goodness no! Not if you show them a bit of love and kindness, that is! I hand-feed all of my animals, and I never get bitten."
