Hugh chopping wood

Hugh is an Imperial farmer who lives in Skingrad with his parents Ajax and Moira.

Hugh gets up at 6am every morning and eats breakfast, then goes outside to work. On Morndas, Middas, and Fredas, he works in the fields; on every other day, he chops wood. On weekdays, he works until 10pm, comes in to eat a late dinner, and goes to bed; on weekends, he breaks early (6pm) and comes in to relax for a couple hours before eating dinner at 10pm.

He wears a forester's shirt, sack cloth pants, and oiled linen shoes; he carries an ear of corn, a hoe, a small amount of gold, and a house key.

Ajax's house is located north of the city. It's a split-level; the main room is a dining/kitchen area with a table in the middle, shelves and cupboards flanking a table against one wall, and some containers in the far corner. The upstairs has two rooms; the outer is Hugh's bedroom (it has a bed, dresser, and bookcase) and the inner is a sitting room (two chairs and a small table, and a writing desk in the corner. A set of stairs from the inner room leads to the attic, which Ajax and Moira use as their bedroom; Moira also works up here, spinning wool.
