Bassanio

Bassanio is an Imperial noble who lives in the Converted Checkpoint Apartments.

Bassanio gets up at 10am every morning and eats breakfast for two hours at the communal table. After breakfast, he goes for a walk in the Market District, browsing the shops and talking to people. At 6pm, he stops in at The King and Queen Tavern for a two-hour dinner. On weekdays, he goes to The Bloated Float for two hours afterward, then goes home; on weekends, he returns to the apartments and remains there for the rest of the night. In either case, he stays up until 2am before finally going to bed.

He wears a burgundy linen shirt and pants, and russet felt shoes, and carries a moderate amount of gold.

Bassanio is currently staying in the communal area of the apartments; he has nothing more than a bed and a chest for his belongings.

He has little to say beyond complaints: "They send me to the Imperial City for business, and they can't even spend enough coin to at least put me in one of the hotels! I'm reduced to staying in some underground communal apartment with all the other low-lives."
