Auriel

Auriel is a High Elf bookseller who runs Auriel's Books, a bookstore nestled up against the city wall on the eastern side of the Imperial City Market District.

She wakes up at 8am every morning and goes downstairs to open the shop for business. On weekdays, she remains open until 4pm, then goes to The Foaming Flask for an early dinner; on weekends, she closes up early, at noon, goes for a walk in the Elven Gardens District, and then heads over to Palate's Imbuement at 4pm. After dinner, regardless of the day, she visits the Arboretum for an evening stroll, then returns to her shop at 10pm to go to bed.

Auriel wears a green brocade doublet, Imperial Breeches, and blue suede shoes; she carries a copy of Biography of Barenziah, v1, a loaf of bread, and a key to the shop.

Auriel lives in a spacious apartment above her shop. It has a desk and bookcase near the door where she does her work, a large dining table where she takes her meals, a double bed, and a bookcase and winerack tucked into a corner.

Auriel is polite and reserved: "Welcome to Auriel's Books. I am Auriel, please let me know if there is anything I can help you with." If you ask her about the book Attempted Resurgence of the Illusionist, she'll tell you: "Ah, you noticed that I don't have the complete set. Yes, sadly I have only the first three books. I used to have all six books, but I leant the final three books to Lys Koch, and he never returned them. Here's a thought, perhaps you might be able to ask him to return my books?"
