Welcome[edit]

Hello Vometia! Welcome to UESPWiki. It's always good to have new members. If you would like to help improve any of our pages, you may want to take a look at the following links:

If you, on the other hand, would like to spice up your userpage, take a look at this link:

  • Userboxes: near complete list of userboxes, including a guide to make your own

When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).

Feel free to practice editing in the sandbox and don't hesitate to contact one of our mentors if you need any help. Have fun! --Talk Wolok gro-Barok Contributions 11:45, 27 March 2010 (UTC)

Well that's odd[edit]

You have one of the stranger userpages on here I think. :D What's the reason for the little thing of text in the center and nothing else? Just curious by the way.--Ghurhak gro-Demril or TAOYes? 19:22, 21 November 2010 (UTC)

I'd love to be able to think of an exciting, compelling and utterly untrue explanation, but the only reason is me being obtuse, really. :D --Vometia 19:25, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
Sounds like a perfectly good reason to me. By the way two things: 1: Have you thought about becoming a pattroller or userpattroller? And 2: You don't need to let me know you responded on my talk. I've got it set so that any page I edit is added to my watchlist. It's not like I mind or anything but no reason for you to go to the trouble.--Ghurhak gro-Demril or TAOYes? 19:36, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
Sorry for the delay, I had to go away to think about it. The best answer I can come up is "possibly": for various reasons, I can't dedicate a lot of time to that sort of thing right now, but that's not to say I wouldn't like to help out. I guess it really comes down to what sort of help UESP wants as regards a patroller: if it's a case of every extra pair of eyes is welcome, then I certainly have no problems with offering my assistance; but if it's to be an active member of the team where I'd have a fairly constant presence (which isn't an unreasonable expectation for that type of role) then I'm not really able to offer that level of involvement at present and other members may be able to do a better job. Attempting to guess UESP's requirements isn't really the most productive way forward so I'll have to pass that one back to you and await your response. :) --Vometia 14:06, 23 November 2010 (UTC)
Yep every extra person is welcome. See RH for the best example of occasionally active patroller.--Ghurhak gro-Demril or TAOYes? 00:29, 24 November 2010 (UTC)
