Welcome![edit]
Hello Twilot spankle! Welcome to UESPWiki! It's great when we get new members. If you would like to help improve any of our pages, you may want to take a look at the following links:
- Policies and Guidelines: UESPWiki standards and expectations
- Help Contents: a list of in-depth Help pages
- Quick Editing Guide: a quick guide to wiki markup
- Getting Started: how you can help
- Uploading Images: Guidelines on image standardization
If you would like to spice up your userpage, click here for a list of userboxes you can use, including a guide to making your own.
When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).
Feel free to practice editing in the sandbox or discuss the games on the forums. If you need any help, don't hesitate to contact one of our mentors. Have fun! Forfeit (talk) 03:32, 14 November 2015 (UTC)
Images & Links[edit]
Hey Twilot spankle! Just a small Heads-up: if you are uploading images, please confer to our naming policies, and don't forget to add a licence. I've corrected your recently uploaded images for you. If you want to create internal links in this wiki, there is an elegant solution: [[Morrowind:House Dagoth|House Dagoth]]
produces House Dagoth. Have fun! -- SarthesArai Talk 12:06, 14 November 2015 (UTC)
Lore People Pages[edit]
Hey Twilot spankle. For pages that use {{Lore People Summary}}, you don't need to use a See Also section to link to their gamespace pages since the 'appears' parameter does that for you. The Loremaster's Archive is hosted on the wiki and can be cited using a regular {{Cite book}}, rather than an external OOG link. Also, we're going with "ESO" rather than "Online". Thanks! —Legoless (talk) 23:23, 3 January 2016 (UTC)
