Warning[edit]

Stop hand.png Please do not add nonsense and obscenities to UESPWiki (such as this edit to Oblivion:Estate_Agent), as it is considered to be vandalism. If you continue to abuse your editing privileges, this IP address will be blocked from editing. What Is the point in sying editing my own page is vndalism then>>>>>(NathanTHipgrave 18:19, 3 February 2009 (EST))<<<<<

If you hadn't posted multiple obscenities on the site, insulted the other site editors, and even made threats against other editors, it would not be necessary to "mess up" your talk page. However, inappropriate behaviour has consequences, even on a web site. A large, ugly, warning box is one such consequence, necessary in order to make it easy for other administrators and site patrollers to know the status of your account.
Being unhappy about your pages being proposed for deletion is no excuse. There are many appropriate ways to start civil, productive discussions with other editors (see, for example, After Your Edit is Saved); the vast majority of editors, even new ones, are able to figure out a way to carry out a civil discussion instead of resorting to obscenity-laced temper tantrums. If you really are interested in contributing productively to this site, you should try reading some of our help pages, such as Getting Started. --NepheleTalk 18:02, 3 February 2009 (EST)
How the hell is editing my own page vandalism (NathanTHipgrave 18:01, 3 February 2009 (EST))
(Preceding comment moved here from my talk page).
Posting obscenities, anywhere on the site, is inappropriate and disruptive. Other readers should not have to be insulted by your rude comments if they happen to read a wiki page. Feel free to read our article on vandalism for more information on our site's policies. Note in particular the part about "Another common type of vandalism is the addition of childish insults, bad jokes, or other nonsense. The more profane the graffiti is, the more stern the warning should be." Furthermore, you may want to check the section about Harassment and Personal Attacks -- several of your comments are very close to qualifying as harassment and personal attacks, according to which your account could be immediately and permanently blocked, because treating other members of the community disrespectfully is not tolerated.
In addition, if by "my own page" you mean Oblivion:Estate_Agent, then you are completely mistaken about how a wiki works. Just because you create a page does not make that page "yours". All articles on the site, no matter who created them or who edited them, are part of the wiki. Try reading some of the large, bold-faced warnings at the bottom of the edit page that are there to inform editors what submitting content to a wiki means -- for example, the warning If you don't want your writing to be edited mercilessly, then don't submit it here or the links to the copyright page. In other words, the article on Oblivion:Estate_Agent is considered to be an article on the site, and therefore all of the rules that apply to UESPWiki articles apply to that article, including rules about not posting obscenities. --NepheleTalk 18:17, 3 February 2009 (EST)

Didnt you read the Big Bold writing at the top of my page saying i know theres already a site on houses (NathanTHipgrave 18:23, 3 February 2009 (EST))

Nobody is disputing anything you wrote on your page. We all realize that you know there is already an article on houses. We're saying that there is no need for there to be a second article. As Nephele's deletion proposal states, you're welcome to attempt to improve the current housing article either through direct editing or making suggestions on the talk page, but just creating an entirely new page is just going to result in that page getting deleted. I highly recommend that you read the Style Guide to help you make better edits to the site, as your recent edit is from a first person prospective.--Ratwar 19:34, 3 February 2009 (EST)
