Question on Talk Page Additions[edit]

I had added a comment on the discussion/talk page of Skyrim talk:Halldir's Cairn and User:Wolfborn removed it - reason: already mentioned and confirmed. Why then have a discussion page? Then I dug some more and found a page on Discussion Pages. I then thought, ok, maybe I was not exactly adding new related content and the bug is verified.

Then I read: UESPWiki:Namespaces Talk Namespaces states opinions are ok. So I revert back to the question on discussion pages.

Now is it possible the page about Talk Namespaces needs to be updated?

What I had posted:

I was sorting out my loot from this current round of playing and discovered I had 2 of Halldir's Staff. I do not recall when I picked up the second staff as I had never before received 2 staffs from Halldir's Cairn. Daddyattitude (talk) 15:04, 11 January 2025 (UTC)
Talk pages are generally geared towards improving the articles that they're attached to, so broadly speaking, posts should in some way add information or opinions about things that need to be changed on the article page. Adding a "me too" post about an already known bug typically doesn't do that, and so those posts are discouraged and often removed (that goes for most gaming forums, not just us). If you were confirming a newly reported bug or adding new information about the bug, that would be perfectly fine. If you feel that we've missed some new information in your post, though, feel free to to point it out. Robin Hood(talk) 19:02, 15 January 2025 (UTC)
