City pages

FYI, the "City Summary" template on the city pages is, in my opinion, pretty useless... if you browse through the city talk pages, you'll probably find me repeating that a few times ;) If you want to just get rid of it completely, feel free to do so. Or if you'd like to come up with a better template that actually does what you want, I'd be glad to help with creating it. That template was created back when options weren't possible, for example the heading "Residences" is always displayed, even if there aren't any residences. Now it's possible to make that heading disappear if the section is empty. I've just never taken the time to think about what should be on a city page and how it should be laid out.

So, feel free to play around with one of the pages and experiment to see what you think works and doesn't work. If you'd like help learning how to do something unusual, just ask! And if you come up with a layout you'd like to reproduce on other pages, I can help with figuring out how to create a template to help with that. --Nephele 02:30, 1 March 2007 (EST)

NPC Template

Umm... did you use "subst" when you created the Oblivion:Skaleel and Oblivion:Denel pages? You don't really want to do that; you want the final page to still say "{{NPC Template". That way any tweaks that are made to the template format will take effect on this page (and all other NPC pages). Also, do you realize that all the info to create these pages can be accessed on my sandbox? So you can get the complete set of stats, preformatted, for any NPC you want and just paste it into the NPC pages. There are some specific instructions on that page. --Nephele 00:57, 11 March 2007 (EST)

ShakenMike: I thought the same thing. Honestly, you have posted a few questions that were hard, or nearly impossible, to answer, and many questions that you could find just by searching the site. But, I never considered you a "vandal." And I do think it's a little out of line for someone to delete something you posted on your talk site, supposedly because it may be an "attack" on UESP.
