Killing Gaenor[edit]

(moved from the article)

Alternate simple way to kill Gaenor without any exotic gear, super potions, etc: A little study of this site shows his weakness, or his secret: a high luck attribute. Make a weapon with damage luck; I made an ebony broadsword that damages 20 luck on strike. Also, make a constant effect restore luck item to undo any reflects, +2 restore constant is more than enough for players with normalish attributes(150 or less). Then, armed with a supply of healing potions, go at it. In short order you reduce his luck down to zero, your own will recover (just wait it out), and he becomes easy enough to kill. Remember his spell reflection; one strategy is to use damage that you are mostly immune to, as a Nord I used a frost weapon against him after his luck was down.

Moved because it needs rewriting to lose the first-person perspective and be rather more formal. Aren't there better ways, too? A Damage Luck weapon still requires you to hit him. Why not use spells instead? If somebody fancies rewriting this, the whole Gaenor section needs fixing too. rpeh •TCE 13:10, 26 July 2010 (UTC)

Dark Brotherhood[edit]

"all of the Dark Brotherhood members respawn as soon as you leave the cell they are in" Don't know the reason, but in my current walkthrough it took several days for them to respawn, which took me by surprise when I went down to kill Dandras and found that all the assassins I killed on my first day were back, while the ones I killed later were not. --178.252.126.70 05:25, 20 March 2018 (UTC)
