Quick Walkthrough[edit]

As a vampire, speak to Vrashammu in Madalvel Ancestral Tomb about the secret of domination.
Retrieve the Staff of Serpentine Mesmer from Volenfaryon's Propylon Chamber (rewards filled soul gems).
Either:
- Refuse to help further (ends quest)
- Agree to help.
Kill Agarinnu, Ahaatu and Mar-Utu in Volenfaryon.
Wait two nights.
Speak to Vrashammu.

The following Journal ID and Index codes can be used with the Journal console command to manually update the quest to a certain point.

100		Vrashammu rewarded me for retrieving the staff. Upon returning, she offered to share the results of her studies if I killed the 'witch-worms' at Volenfaryon, and I accepted.
105	Finishes quest	Vrashammu rewarded me for retrieving the staff. Upon returning, she offered to share the results of her studies if I killed the 'witch-worms' at Volenfaryon, but I refused.
110		The three 'witch-worms' of Volenfaryon are dead.
115		Vrashammu rewarded me for retrieving the staff. Additionally, she said she would share the results of her study on the secret of domination when she was finished. She said it would take no less than two nights.
120		I let Vrashammu know that the mabrigash at Volenfaryon were dead, but she is still studying the staff. She said it would take two nights at most.
125		Two nights have passed. Vrashammu has probably studied the staff.
130	Finishes quest	As an additional reward for my service, Vrashammu taught me a mind control spell that works over a wide area.
135	Finishes quest	Vrashammu is dead.
