Deprecation Note[edit]
- While this quest can be started in the 22.11 (Embers of Empire) release of the mod, both the removal of the escaped Argonians and of the Argonian mission from Firewatch make completion of the quest impossible without console commands. It seems likely that the ability to begin this quest at all is an oversight made during development.
Quick Walkthrough[edit]
- (Optional) Hear about rumors of two slaves who have escaped from Orelu Plantation.
- Track down one of the slaves.
- Decide what to do with her.
Detailed Walkthrough[edit]
Missing Property[edit]
While talking to the locals of Tel Ouada about the latest rumors, you might hear of two slaves who have escaped from the nearby Orelu Plantation. You can ask one of the farmers on the plantation about this, and he will confirm that two slaves called Ki-Ralis and Mee-Sei recently escaped. The farmers will tell you that it's unlikely they went north or east because they'd soon hit the ocean. The remaining plantation slaves will tell you that the pair headed northwest, because Ki-Ralis was looking for higher ground so he could work out where to go next.
High Ground[edit]
To the north west lies Aegondo Point and the forbidding shrine of Yamuninisharn. Head along the path to the shrine and look for a small grassy area to your right after you've been on the path for a while. In here you will find Mee-Sei. She's alone as Ki-Ralis had gone on ahead, still searching for higher ground. Mee-Sei is terrified of the shrine and can't wait to leave.
If you carry on up the path, you will find the body of Ki-Ralis, who evidently succumbed to the local mixture of animals and daedra.
Work or Freedom?[edit]
If you ask Mee-Sei to travel with you, you can tell her you're either going to take her to the Argonian Mission in Firewatch or that you intend to return her to the plantation. She obviously prefers the former option, but is so terrified that she will follow you either way.
If you decide to return her to the plantation, simply head back that way and into Nifum Othril's shack. Talk to him again about runaway slaves for a reward of 20 saltrice. Mee-Sei is naturally disgusted with your decision, and her disposition drops by 100 points.
The alternative is to take a boat from Tel Ouada to Firewatch, then escort her to the Argonian Mission in the castle. Mee-Sei's disposition jumps 50 points when she arrives, and you can also talk to Walks-Through-Shadow for a further reward of 200 gold.
Notes[edit]
- If you talk to the Nifum Othril about runaway slaves and tell him you intend to take Mee-Sei to Firewatch, you receive a bounty of 1,000 gold.
