Lodyna Garer

Lodyna Garer is a Dark Elf pawnbroker who operates a pawn shop overlooking Veloth's Path as it passes through Hlan Oek. Accordingly her wares seem geared to attract the interest of the Dunmer devout frequently passing through town. She therefore claims a number of relics to be among her stock, including the Shoes of St. Aralor, the spear Muatra, the Genuine Staff of Chaos and Vivec's Ashmask. These are, without exception, scams.

There appears to be a darker side to Lodyna beyond her trade in false relics, and it becomes apparent during one Thieves Guild quest that she has been buying the possessions of those murdered by the Camonna Tong, of which she is a member. Accordingly, her basement contains the ring of a murdered Hlaalu trader, in addition to various other pieces of (chiefly Dwemer) contraband presumably smuggled in by the criminal organization with which she works.
