A Sky Render

Sky Renders (or Parraptons) are large insects resembling giant wasps that construct their hives in the dry canyons of the Shipal-Shin region of Morrowind. They have been known to be used as mounts by the native Dunmer as well as by members of House Dres.

Notes[edit]

  • Prior to version 22.11 of Tamriel Rebuilt, a mounted Skyrender could be found in Port Telvannis, albeit with a different texture than it's current iteration. It was ultimately removed due to the difficulties with properly animating a mounted creature and its rider as a singular entity, an issue which itself largely stems from a system to handle mounts not existing in base game Morrowind. For this reasons, it is unlikely that mounted variants of Skyrenders will appear in future releases of Tamriel Rebuilt.
