Finntroll?[edit]

Is it possible that the title/author of this book (Troll Slaying, by Finn) is a reference to the Finnish metal band Finntroll? Saw this book in Esbern's Quarters for the first time today, and that was my immediate reaction. Saromango 11:20, 6 February 2012 (UTC)

Map updated[edit]

I got a "Map Updated" message when I opened this book. Kinda weird, since no specific location is mentioned in the book's text. Glitch? 142.177.208.127 18:50, 8 August 2014 (GMT)

There's nothing special about it that I can find. Do you have any mods installed? Or maybe you just happened to overhear a distant conversation at the same time? Robin Hood  (talk) 22:59, 8 August 2014 (GMT)

Adventure Time Easter Egg[edit]

My claim is this is an easter egg referencing the character Finn from the Cartoon Network show Adventure Time. Plot lines in the show often include Finn taking part in quests and dungeon crawling, very similar to those undertaken in Skyrim. I do not think this is a reference to the metal band Finntroll as described below. — Unsigned comment by Rabidvermin (talkcontribs) at 00:48 on 21 September 2014 (GMT)

I disagree. Some very loose similarities do not make a reference. If this book were to reference parts of the plot of the show, or portray this Finn in a similar fashion, then it might be passable, but not as it is. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 00:48, 21 September 2014 (GMT)
