Mistake?[edit]
It says on both the pages that the dog's stats are no higher than other dogs, but their total health on the stats page suggests the are MUCH more durable than other dogs, is this a mistake? 166.82.245.89 21:49, 14 August 2012 (UTC)
- You're right, I somehow misread the 10/100 as being the same when glancing over the other canine follower pages for comparison, so it was an error. Thanks for catching this, I'll go ahead and fix the note on both pages. ABCface◥ 22:32, 14 August 2012 (UTC)
Dog has over 1,000 health?[edit]
I can't find a guide that tells me how to read these formulas. So, I would assume "PC" means the playable character's base health. I thought base health included your level-up +10 boosts (if chosen) but not any enchantments such as clothing boosts or potions. This would mean that even if my health was only 110 that the dog would have: 100 + ( (110-1) * 10 ) = 1190 health points. That seems insanely high and I'm thinking it's a mistake or I'm wrong about "PC". The "-1" is especially odd, why subtract one point at this place in the formula? Seems silly. If I'm correct, then does that mean the dog's health is set when you first meet it, or it levels up with you? (assuming you chose health boosts) Amsuko (talk) 01:36, 22 May 2015 (GMT)
- PC is the Player Character's Level, and in this case there is also a minimum and maximum level for Sceolang (10 to 25). So he will always have at least 200 health (level 10) and at most 350 health (level 25). Note that he'll have 200 health when you are level 11 because of the PC-1, and the maximum will be at level 26. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 02:07, 22 May 2015 (GMT)

- Thank you! What about the lvl 10-25 range? It says his lvl is PCx1. Wouldn't that mean that the biggest number allowed in the formula is 25? Which means his max health is 100+((25-1)*10)=340? (Were you thinking it said his lvl = PC-1?) Just trying to make sure I'm still not misunderstanding something. (Is there a page where these abbreviations used for formulas/charts are explained?) Thanks so much! Amsuko (talk) 02:48, 22 May 2015 (GMT)

- You're right, I thought level was PC-1; 340 is the max health. Level is the most important factor in stats, and formulas are better read as 100+(Level-1)×10, and deriving the level first. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 03:04, 22 May 2015 (GMT)
