Bug

I have a bug with this item where pickpocketing it from Leontius after giving it to him the item is still marked as quest item and thus I can't remove it from my inventory even though I already finished the quest. Incohatus (talk) 06:44, 3 March 2014 (GMT)

That isn't what we class as a bug. The quest proceeded normally and you did something unexpected so the game had no need to respond. Silence is Golden^{Break the Silence} 14:00, 3 March 2014 (GMT)

To fix this "bug" I killed Salvius after pickpocketing the letter, placed the letter on his corpse, then retrieved the letter and it wasn't marked as a quest item any longer
