Uses weapons other than two-handed?[edit]
This is obviously with a mod that enables kids to fight, as Nelkir would normally flee from combat and cannot be harmed. The page says his primary skill is Two-handed, but he just picked up a bow and started shooting at me, even though there were two-handed weapons available. What's up with that? I had expected NPCs to always look for weapons they have a high skill for? --Nv4dispbluescreen 10:31, 27 August 2012 (UTC)
- The info on the page will have come from the Construction Set. In the un-modded game, children will never actually use weapons of any sort as far as I know. ThuumofReason 12:23, 27 August 2012 (UTC)
- Since the issue at hand is affected by a mod, it's not really relevant to the article. It's not uncommon for adult NPCs to pick up the weapon nearest them if they don't have their own. Also, there's a post here about a child taking out his dagger before running away in a combat situation (without a mod). ABCface◥ 14:12, 27 August 2012 (UTC)
