Strange... When I wrote this article I was in-game documenting everything I saw. I was able to use the bed and gain the Rested perk without killing the Hunter. Perhaps it is a bug with my or your game? Can anyone verify this? I can say that something I found confusing was that, as I wrote the article, I used the wait function to see if the Hunter would leave his perch, but he didn't. Perhaps I have a bugged game where he doesn't move or sleep, and therefore his bed is rendered usable? According to the CK, common bed 0006ae97 is not owned.
