Skyrim talk:Cidhna Mine
- I killed every last person looking for a key to the back room, but couldn't get the guard to die close enough to loot it. I eventually just did my time and the game crashed. 220.127.116.11 04:11, 27 April 2012 (UTC)
I was recently in cidhna mine trying to get some silver when a message popped up when I hit the ore, I did not select it, asking if I wanted to serve my time. Can someone else test this to see if its not just a glitch and if it is not a glitch can it be added to the page. thanks --Ohnoitsmangofett 05:56, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
- It is not a glitch. Rather than sleeping in a bed or on a cot. the wau you serve out your sentence in the Cidhna Mine is by mining the ore. The only way of getting this ore, without having to serve your sentence is through the Forsworn Conspiracy quest.--bepease2269 00:12, 22 July 2012 (UTC)bepease2269
Bug or design?
From the main page: If you go into the mine before you are arrested and sentenced there, you will face a few mercenaries. The key you pickpocket only works on a door leading into the evidence room. There are two doors leading into the prison. The first door doesn't unlock even if you have the key.
Yep. This is true. I don't think it's a bug. Cidhna Mine is supposed to be the toughest prison in Skyrim, you can't break into or out of it.
Like all the other prisons in the game, you can sneak in to the evidence chest and steal back the stuff that the guards took from you when they arrested you. But that's it. You can't break out of it except via the quest after Forsworn Conspiracy, via the dwarven tunnel that only exists during that quest.
- Clearly not a bug. You can't open it from the inside either. The inner cell are clearly locked for the quest. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 19:43, 26 January 2013 (GMT)
I see it listed on the page but it doesn't seem like anyone has figured out what the problem is. Every time I play through the inventory sounds are disabled in Cidhna Mine. Anyone know why? Tiger8u2 (talk) 04:56, 2 December 2014 (GMT)
