The pages for both Advard and Skeggr indicate that the skeletons can be found next to each other; while I did find Skeggr underwater near the capsized rowboat, I found Advard just south of the Wreck of the Winter War on dry land. In fact, he is in the exact spot I land on when I fast travel to the wreck. Can anyone confirm this? --Reka 15:58, 6 February 2012 (UTC)

When I came across him, he was rolling down the hill. Is of any use? — Unsigned comment by 71.81.5.14 (talk) at 06:10 on 3 June 2012
For me, Advard was almost directly under the boat (along with 6 or so slaughterfish), and Skeggr was nowhere to be seen (despite a reasonable search of the area). Also, Advard shows up as red with Detect Dead, not blue as I would have expected. 124.170.3.177 02:12, 27 June 2012 (UTC)
I found both skeletons floating on the water's surface, but they didn't seem to be affected by the current. I'm going to speculate and say that either the placement of these skeletons is slightly bugged, or the game simply drops them imprecisely into the gameworld when the cell loads. You can often see similar results of these drops when Mammoths or Dragon skeletons materialize above the ground and then fall.Evil-i (talk) 23:43, 16 September 2012 (GMT)
I also found Advard on the land as documented above — Unsigned comment by 92.13.127.252 (talk) at 11:17 on 20 February 2013 (GMT)

() I located Advard on the shore, bobbing in the shallow water right next to a piece of glacial ice, nowhere near Skeggr. Skyrim 1.9.29.0.8 with the Unofficial Skyrim Patch. Recommend changing this. GodRaineTalk 03:52, 26 July 2013 (GMT)

I found him on the shore, half way down the hill on the same chunk of land as the winter war shipwreck dealie. It looked like he had rolled into that position, but was stationary when I got there. Skeggr was closer to their camp, still underwater though, with the slaughterfish like menitoned above, although not under the boat. Couldnt be seen from the surface. I think the game does just do that thing where it drops them wherever. Im assuming that every time you go to an area nearby there and don't find them, it moves them slightly.74.128.43.180 11:33, 7 August 2013 (GMT)
He was a fisherman for slaughterfish. He should be directly under the boat a few feet from Skeggr, who is "holding" a leveled axe. For a point of reference, they should both be very close to a lantern on the sea floor. If they're not there, it's probably a physics issue or a bug. Vely►t►e 22:39, 10 November 2013 (GMT)
