How do you summon Haskill? It seems I can't do it. I select the "Summon Haskell" spell, but nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong? — Unsigned comment by 24.12.152.186 (talk) at 19:06 on 21 March 2009

If you are in the the Shivering Isles and it still is not working, try finding him and talking to him because he may be doing a task which you forgot about. For instance you could have been transported to the castle and left before he talked to you and it caused him to "freeze" so to speak. If that fails, leave the Isles and return. — Unsigned comment by 76.104.9.23 (talk) on 22 August 2010
Also, SI stands for Shivering Isles. -- Jplatinum16 15:07, 22 August 2010 (UTC)

I summon Haskill but can't progress[edit]

I've got to the stage of summoning Haskill - this works fine and he appears, but no matter how many times I summon him, Sheogorath still says "go on he loves it" or whatever. I've tried summon Haskill in the hall, or elsewhere, leaving the SIs and coming back, nothing.

Also have an odd problem - Haskill got killed near me before this quest, and constantly is trying to heal himself, to no avail. Not sure if this is the cause of the problem.

I've tried consoling through this quest to stage 10 - but then when I try talking to Syl or Thaddon, they say they've sworn allegiance to Jyggalug and try to kill me!

I've installed the Unofficial Shivering Isles patch, makes no difference. I'd rather not have to start SI again, that would be very annoying.90.194.145.141

Moved note.[edit]

  • Haskill is not a fighter and will instead assist you by offering advice based on his extensive knowledge of the Shivering Isles. Continuing to summon him in the palace will cause Haskill to reply with many humorous remarks, ending with "That's enough. Really."

This should be put on Haskill's page if it isn't already. JackTurbo95 19:08, 19 April 2011 (UTC)

I've undid your removal. The note advises new players of Haskill's fighting uselessness, and it is quest-specific in that it mentions his several irritated lines should you repeatedly summon him on this quest. While I'm sure the entire dialogue will eventually go on Haskill's NPC page, this note should remain. Legoless 19:28, 19 April 2011 (UTC)
I know I posted this after you did that , but not looking at the Recent Changes page. JackTurbo95 20:30, 19 April 2011 (UTC)
