Suicide[edit]

When I searched for the skulls, I found all the skulls hidden or on alters, but with Limark it appears that he jumped off a small edge, killing himself. What I'm saying is that it only looks like Limark killed himself.--Arch-Mage Matt 00:21, 3 November 2009 (UTC)

The skulls could simply have been scattered, or collected, by other people. --Timenn-<talk> 11:11, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
The brother you talk to says they scattered the remains all over.76.104.9.23 03:38, 23 August 2010 (UTC)

Zealot Reanimation[edit]

When going for Lorenz's skull, I had the zealots reanimate and come after me as soon as I approached the altar from behind, without so much as actually looking at the skull. It appears they activated from proximity to the skull. Can anyone verify this? Perhaps the person who stated it originally took the skull quickly enough that they seemed to be triggered by that action? Sarikitty 05:33, 2 December 2009 (UTC)

I think I can recall there was a trigger zone that triggered the Zealots to rise, but I have to verify this in the CS when I'm back home. --Timenn-<talk> 15:12, 3 December 2009 (UTC)
Checked the CS, and there is indeed a trigger zone there that wakes the Zealots when you enter it. Actually, the dead bodies are replaced with live ones, which explains why you can't see them with Detect Life before that. --Timenn-<talk> 17:18, 8 December 2009 (UTC)

If a ghost "dies"...[edit]

by being pushed off the cliff, are you screwed? When asked about Rumors, everyone says how they are back "every day" to relive their suffering or something. However, every time I go look, there are only four there now. (I'm on 360 so no console for me.) Yes, I read the article, but it wasn't very clear as to if they'll ever respond or if it'll cause the quest to be forfeit. I'm guessing it does, but optimism never hurt anyone. Justeazy 17:01, 5 April 2010 (UTC)

It says the spell is unattainable, so I'd say that translates to causing the quest to be forfeit. --GKtalk2me 20:38, 8 April 2010 (UTC)

Concerning the Hill of Suicide...[edit]

(moved from Shivering talk:Shivering Isles#Concerning the Hill of Suicide... (Moved))

I am collecting the skulls....I have the one from Canns...now I am at knotty brambles, finally got the body off the table and the button is revealed. however, I can push the button a hundred times and I get nada, zilch, nothin. A opening door/wall noise can't even be heard. Should I push the button with a differfent finger or is there something I/m missing? — Unsigned comment by D'tor (talkcontribs) on 25 April 2010

It doesn't make a noise, at least I don't remember it doing so. Look behind you! The walkthrough on this article may help too. rpeh •TCE 07:30, 25 April 2010 (UTC)

Limark's skull no where to be found[edit]

I entered the place, followed the directions and found the body laying over the ledge, but no skull. I went outside and waited for more than 72 hours to see if it would reload and nothing, anybody know anything? — Unsigned comment by 76.104.9.23 (talk) at 03:26 on 23 August 2010

It should be there. I don't know if it is helpful, but here is an image of Limark and his skull. --Krusty 08:04, 25 August 2010 (UTC)

Quest Giver[edit]

Who is the Quest giver for the quest "Ghosts of the Hill of Suicide"? I mean this seems like a chalenging Quest but I like a good challenge im using the Computer version and can I also have the Quest ID #? — Unsigned comment by 174.45.14.109 (talk) at 23:35 on 25 December 2010

There is no quest giver for the Hill of Suicide quest, although I suspect Erver Devani was supposed to be quest giver, until they changed their minds and made it a "hidden" quest. You will get no journal antries, no map markers no nothing. You will, on the other hand, get to explore some very challenging dungeons, and I personally think this is one of the better quests in the Isles. Good luck! --Krusty 23:47, 25 December 2010 (UTC)

Can't find Salonia Viria's skull[edit]

My shivering isles is on PS3 Game of the Year (European Version) and I had to reset all the SI quests because of Vampire Cure glitch. Everything is working (I found all of the other skulls) except when I go to Cann I can't find the skull. I checked all around the room and waited for 72 hours and still nothing. Can someone help me please? (If it helps I completed this quest before Vampire Cure) — Unsigned comment by 86.167.65.185 (talk) on 16 feb 2011

ID's[edit]

Can't find the ID's for any of the skulls. Perhaps that should be somewhere? My friend's game is bugged in the Lost Crypt zone (can't go past a certain point without the game crashing), so I suggested to him that he use the console and add the skull that way, but we can't find the ID's. 24.87.104.28 02:55, 3 July 2012 (UTC)

I'm not sure exactly which IDs you need since I don't use the PC, but here's the links to the CSList files from game data in case you can figure out which ID you need from there:
Hope that helps! If not, just say so, and hopefully another editor will come around and figure it out. ABCface 04:31, 4 July 2012 (UTC)
Ah, this should be fine; will try it in a bit. Thanks! - Cas 24.87.104.28 01:13, 7 July 2012 (UTC)

Fortify Fatigue Effect[edit]

If I turn in all skulls in one trip, will the effects stack, thereby adding a full 500 points of Fortify Fatigue? Or do they apply consecutively as in 100 points for five times the duration (unlikely)? Crayolamanic (talk) 04:27, 18 November 2015 (UTC)

They will stack for 500 points of Fortify Fatigue. 74.102.161.82 00:49, 24 January 2021 (UTC)
